Hudway, the app that turns your windshield HUD

More and more cases where the augmented reality makes its appearance in the world of four wheels. Is the example of Toyota, who wanted to offer a different experience to passengers in the car? Although the world of two wheels is not nothing new, since we have the case of LiveMap , a prototype motorcycle helmet with integrated browser.

What we teach then goes further, since you need not buy any motorcycle helmet and HUD (Head Up Display) or head-up display for the car. Only download a mobile application you can use this technology. The app is called Hudway and what it does is use the lines to project an image on the glass of our car. How? It basically uses clear lines on black background, being the only thing that stands in the image. If you use the maximum brightness of the screen you can get the glass reflects enough to follow a path.

The application offers very visual data such as speed or the road ahead, and is especially designed for drivers traveling at night as during the day would be quite difficult to see any reflection of the device.

Hudway is free and is available only for iOS, but also come to Android in February next year. Those who want the Pro version, but must pay 1.47 dollars. It differs from the free because it includes a couple of important features. For example, allows you to customize how you view the road, plus it will show in red those sections where the road more dangerous place.
